College Finder Now, LLC was created to help junior high and high school students decide what their next steps would be after high school. Some people may be better suited for vocational or technical college and some for traditional college. I am here to help increase the calm, reduce anxiety, and provide you the tools to help you succeed in college and beyond.

Our plan is to bring normalcy to students who want to pursue higher level of education in this chaotic time and beyond. Students need to have all the information to make informed decision on what college is the best fit for them and their future. We will use our skills to provide education and career counseling to help students find the right fit college for their future.

By identifying your strengths and helping create a plan to address your weakness to increase your odds of being a successful college graduate. Help ease anxiety and take the mystery out of the college admissions process.
What is the role of an Independent Education Consultant (IEC)?
An IEC works for the student and family not for the college. We are here to help decrease stress and anxiety that naturally comes with the college admissions process. We are here to provide our expertise through navigating questions like, I am ready of college? Is college right for me? What type of college is right for me? What kind of college experience do I want to have? What do I write for my college essay? Should I take the ACT/SAT test? What are some ways I can pay for college? How do I access learning accommodations at college? To name a few. IEC can help answer some of these questions and help explore ones you may not have thought of.
Most of my training is in the mental health field vs education like other IECs. I have worked with students in mental health settings and in foster care to help evaluate their education and career goals. I have worked with students from different cultures and across socioeconomic statuses. I use motivational interviewing, strength based and personality assessment to get to know the student as their unique self to tailor a plan for them. I work with parents on helping them identify any additional supports their student needs to be a successful college student and evaluate financial concerns of paying for college plus help decrease natural fears and worries of having a child in college.

About Me
Hi, I'm Tammika Banks, I am the owner of College Finder Now LLC.
I am a licensed associate counselor with a master degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. I am using the skills to help students explore their college options to find college that best fits their educational, mental and social needs.
I live in the Queen Creek/San Tan Valley area with my husband. We love traveling around Arizona and visiting local shops. When I am not helping people or traveling, I love cooking new recipes that I have learned from people from different cultures and visits farmer's markets
